Laurel Ann Nelson

Laurel is a Colorado native who grew up skiing, so a career in mountain travel was a natural fit. After earning a degree in Spanish from the University of Colorado Boulder, she joined the ski travel industry, where she’s spent more than 20 years helping travelers plan ski vacations around the world.

Over the years, Laurel has skied throughout Europe, Japan, and North and South America. One of her favorite trips was skiing village to village through Italy’s Dolomites, and she enjoys sharing that firsthand knowledge with clients looking for similar experiences. She’s also lived in Vail, Jackson Hole, and Steamboat for the past two decades, giving her extensive knowledge of Colorado and Wyoming’s mountain destinations. Ask her to choose a favorite ski resort, though, and you’ll probably get a different answer every time.

Fluent in English and Spanish, with conversational Portuguese, Laurel enjoys working with travelers from different backgrounds. Her years in sales and customer service have taught her that the best trips start with listening, and she takes the time to understand what each client is looking for before putting together an itinerary that fits them.

When she’s not planning ski vacations, you’ll usually find Laurel outdoors. In the winter she’s on the slopes, and in the warmer months she’s camping, hiking, biking, or paddleboarding.
