Carter originally joined Alpine Adventures in 2007 as the Partnership Director, bringing her leadership experience from Overstock Travel (Ski West), Deer Valley Lodging, and she was selected by the American Skiing Company to help launch The Canyons as a charter staff manager.

She is recognized as a travel professionals’ professional. Her passion for travel has developed her skill of packaging unforgettable experiences.  Many exclusive travel agents return to her and Alpine, trip after trip, not only for the great experiences, but also for the insider’s value, the specialties that you cannot simply “Google.”

A few of her favorite spots include Park City, Telluride, and Aspen. "Research is my favorite part of my career," says Carter, "First hand experience is so important. I love to recommend and offer the touches that truly make a great experience, the best restaurants, the local's hidden runs, or the best time of year for special events. Besides skiing and snowboarding, her other passions include the outdoors, traveling and live music. Wanting to be close to both the ocean and the mountains, Lauren and her husband now celebrate the beautiful Tahoe Lifestyle.
