As a resort Director of Sales and Marketing for the past decade; John Carter has opened and offered some of the most unique hotel experiences around. From slope-side in Aspen, to lush vineyards in Napa, to the electric pulse of South Beach, John’s philosophy has always featured exclusive travel.  

His relationships with both travel and meeting professionals have produced some of the most creative and unique experiences that anyone could imagine. “I offer my clientele unique twist on travel; an escape from your normal packaged vacation trip. As a former Colorado Tourism Ambassador and current Harris Poll Travel Panelist, Carter’s research and insight reflects the evolving vanguard of travel. He has earned a BA from Louisiana State University as well as an Advanced Certification in Hospitality Marketing from the prestigious Cornell University School of Hotel Administration. Before joining Alpine Adventures, he directed pre-opening teams for luxury resorts and hotels around the country.

This bon vivant’s favorite destinations include Telluride, Aspen, Napa Valley, New Orleans, Chamonix, and almost anywhere there is great food, music, and people.
