Dave Chec, SalesI have been skiing since the ripe old age of 3. Do that math and that will tell you that I have been skiing for a good few years. I grew up skiing a little mountain (hill) in NY called Peak and Peak. I would go just about every weekend when I could afford it. My family also would take us to Vermont for a ski trip or two every year. My favorite aunt bought into a ski house at Mt. Snow VT and I was there a few times every season. College got boring and since I was skiing more than going to class I decided to move to Killington Vt to experience the scene there. Man, what a scene it was. “You Joey, my IROC is stuck in a snow bank again. Didn’t know they meant the tires when they said STUDS!” Anyway. I spent many years playing the ski rat game and learning the ins and outs of the ski industry. I have made beds, cooked burgers, poured drinks, parked cars, bumped chairs and tuned skis. If it has to do with something around a ski resort, I have done it. I have been helping people enjoy the mountain life since 1989. After many fun years of being a single man in a bar filled town I met my now wife Audrey. I felt the ground move before but this was different. She got me on a different path and said, “Dave, go west young man”. So Park City, here we come. Glad we made the move. Skiing out here is way too much fun. Can’t wait to get the little man out there with me this year. Is 2 ∏ too young to ski? Can’t think so. Anyway, as my story tells, I have spent my whole adult life and most of my childhood skiing and chasing the snow ( I do chase the waves once and awhile also). I have had so many great experiences and too many fun memories to even get into it each one. Point is, I want to help anyone I can make some fun in the mountains. |
